People's Mosquito

The remains of Mosquito NF.36 RL249 have been acquired by the People's Mosquito group - who are dedicated to restoring and flying a Mosquito within the UK. Many parts will be manufactured new but parts will be sourced from other areas as much as possible.

Mozzie stands proud!

In late December 2011 de Havilland Mosquito FB.26 KA114 reached a significant point in it's restoration to flight by standing completely under it's own weight. Work on the 'Mozzie' is now so advanced that an ETA on completion and test flights is August/September 2012!
