Swap Ghost to Hawaii

Boeing B-17E Flying Fortress "Swamp Ghost" has been acquired by the Pacific Aviation Museum of Hawaii.

It is expected it will be displayed in an 'as found' condition much like their Japanese Zero fighter display.

  1. It amazes me how we keep finding these old airplanes from World War II. I love these old behemoths with piston engines and timeless lines.

I love watching the old movies of pilots flying these aircraft like in the "Memphis Belle" movie, and seeing them with their green tinted tear drop shaped Randolph Concorde sunglasses like MacArthur wore when he landed back in the Philippines.
